<\/a><\/p>\nI may have been on to something.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\nLast Summer my family was in Montana.\u00a0 We went on several hikes up to beautiful summits where we would sit and just take in all the beauty.\u00a0 We often looked back to where we started, amazed at how far we’d come.<\/p>\n
That’s where I am right now,\u00a0nearing the summit, taking in all that has been my life to this point.\u00a0\u00a0 When I first started, 50 seemed so far away.\u00a0 I couldn’t imagine what it would be like, where I’d be living, what I’d be doing.\u00a0 Now, looking back, it seems to have come so quickly.\u00a0 The terrain I’ve covered has included beautiful, refreshing, joyful trails; rocky, difficult, tiring trials; and some hot, dry,\u00a0and utterly draining seasons.\u00a0 All of them make up the adventure that has been my life.\u00a0 And it’s been good.\u00a0 I’m so thankful for the things I’ve experienced, the things I’ve been able to do, and the people I’ve met along the way!<\/p>\n

<\/a>So what about the paths I have left to travel?\u00a0 What will they hold for me?\u00a0 What will I do?\u00a0 Who will I meet? What will the terrain be like?<\/p>\nI don’t know.<\/em><\/p>\nI have some ideas and some plans.\u00a0 But if the latter\u00a0part of my life is anything like the first, I will definitely encounter things I never expected and experience adventures I never planned to have.<\/p>\n
So, in 92 days I will officially reach the top of the hill.<\/p>\n
