Today is day twenty-five in a thirty-one day <\/a>writing challenge that I’m doing. \u00a0My husband was the one who really forced<\/del> encouraged me to do it. \u00a0I love and appreciate\u00a0that he is so supportive of my writing.\u00a0\u00a0And for the most apart, I have enjoyed the process. \u00a0It has pushed me. \u00a0It has stretched me. \u00a0It has caused me to think about things.<\/p>\n

It has left me\u00a0weary.<\/em><\/p>\n

My intention when I first started writing my blog was to\u00a0offer encouragement for those\u00a0difficult\u00a0things we all face, whether it’s following a dream, parenting, marriage, relationships, or the stuff that floats around in\u00a0our heads.\u00a0 Life is hard.\u00a0 I\u00a0wanted readers to know they aren’t alone.<\/p>\n

To that end, a lot of\u00a0my writing comes from things that are on my heart or\u00a0situations I have or am encountering.\u00a0 I’m finding that the process of sharing my heart, while something I believe is beneficial and satisfying, is also draining.\u00a0\u00a0Which means,\u00a0here I am twenty-five days in and thinking, I’m done.\u00a0 I’m empty.<\/p>\n

I’m in desperate need of filling.<\/em><\/p>\n

Tonight, I find myself crying out to God to breathe new life into my dry and weary bones; to make my heart like a well watered garden.\u00a0 He tells me that He’s my Good Shepherd; He knows what\u00a0I need and will give it to me if I ask.\u00a0 So I ask, knowing that right now, He’s the only one who can help…<\/p>\n
