He just kept telling me to do it. \u00a0So I did.<\/p>\nI made the mistake of telling my husband about it. \u00a0 I wasn’t sure I could do it. \u00a0I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it. \u00a0He told me I could and I should. \u00a0I gave him several excuses. \u00a0He didn’t listen.\u00a0\u00a0He just kept telling me to do it. \u00a0So I did.<\/p>\n
I signed up to do a 31 day writing challenge. \u00a0It’s a challenge to bloggers to write for 31 consecutive days.<\/p>\n
In the light of a new day, I’m cringing at my decision. \u00a0I don’t have the time. \u00a0I already have a fairly full calendar. \u00a0I’m\u00a0\u00a0trying to keep up with four seniors in high school while my husband works all week long in another city! There are already some days where I feel like I’m just keeping my head above water. This is just not the right time. At least that’s what I tell myself…<\/p>\n
Honestly, it’s my fear that gives me pause. \u00a0What am I going to write about for 31 days straight?! \u00a0I’m not that creative. \u00a0That kind of writing is for other, more talented writers; not me. \u00a0And what if I fail? \u00a0What if I miss a day?<\/p>\n
What if?<\/p>\n
What if I take a leap of faith and dive in? \u00a0What if this causes me to grow as a writer and a person? \u00a0And what if I do miss a day? \u00a0It’s not eternal.<\/p>\n
So here I go. \u00a0I’m not sure what this will look like. \u00a0I’m not sure it will be pretty.\u00a0 But here I go….I’m getting it out there.<\/p>\n
